For the first time, Jai Akash is donning the role of a father and son in a film titled Kadhalukku Kan Illai. Alisha Doss and Nisha are the two heroines of this film.

A girl falls in love with a bad person and marries him. This person spoils her life. She gives birth to a boy baby. Whether her son makes his mother honorable and takes revenge on that bad person who cheated his mother is the story of this film.Indhu has penned the story and dialogues while Jai Akash has written the screenplay and has also directed this film. Devraj has handled the camera while U K Murali and Gautham are taking care of the music. N J Satish and Y Muralidharan have jointly producied this film.There are fiery fighting sequences and car chasing sequences in this film. The shooting of this film has taken place in Chennai ECR, Pondicherry, Ooty and Hyderabad.

He was in Chennai and while speaking to the media about Kochadaiyaan said, “In Hollywood, ultra modern technology is ruling.Now in India for the first time, Kochadaiyaan was produced using  Photo Realistic Performance Capturing Technology. Things that cannot be done in reality can be done only through these films. The audience will be awe stuck. This film will show another dimension of Rajinikanth.  After Blood Stone, I produced a Tamil film titled Jeans. Rajini is my friend. If I want to produce a film for him, there should be a story suitable for him. If we get that kind of story, I will definitely produce a film for Rajinikanth.”
